One of my fellow editors is from Flagler Beach and her favorite is Snack Jack – for the fried fish and cold beer served daily.

Another favorite is the Daiquiri Hut in Siesta Key – both locals and vactioners frequent this stop which offers a variety of frozen tropical drink options.

If you are into Sunset's – the Mucky Duck on Captiva is another favorite. While its not really a dive – it is continually tops on our list of the best place to kick back and watch the sun go down. The food here really is a step above, but still best fried.

If you're in the panhandle make a point to visit Sharkey's in Panama City – you can't miss it, it's large and very red. But is a favorite for its fried seafood and live on the beach entertainment.
