Bob Greene suggests:
Staying hydrated is crucial as the weather gets warm. Why not squeeze a lemon or lime into your water bottle for a cool citrus burst.
Instead of reaching for a chocolate popsicle to cool off, grab some frozen grapes. They are a refreshing and healthy snack that can be enjoyed on the go. Bob says some of the freshest, plumpest, juiciest grapes in the world come straight from The Golden State.
For a guiltless pick me up, low-fat cheese sticks and homemade trail mix make a great choice. Pack them in your bag and munch on them wherever you are.
Adapted from Bob's new cookbook, "The Best Life Diet Cookbook," spice up a green summer salad with ingredients such as naturally sweet grapes, red peppers, carrots, jicama and almonds. What a perfect way to add a splash of color and texture while remaining healthy and nutritious!
