Chef John Sellers Shrimp and Italian Sausage penne a la vodka

10 large shrimp
1 link mild italian sausage
1/4 lb penne pasta(cooked)
1/4 cup tomato/basil maranara sauce
1/4 cup alfredo sauce
2 oz vodka

Directions:

Cut the sausage into small slices and place into saute pan. Cook untill done, about 3 minutes then add shrimp to the pan. Cook shrimp on both sides untill done and add the cooked pasta to the pan. Swirl the ingredients to stir the flavors. Next add the tomato/basil to one side of the pan and the alfredo to the other. Swirl and fold the ingredients over the heat untill the sauces start to bubble. Add the vodka to the pan and tip the pan to ignite the vodka and you swirl the pan to burn off the vodka alcohol. What is left is a great vodka flavor and a beautiful,light red cream sauce. Serve and enjoy...
