Peppery Buttermilk-Chive Dressing
makes: 11/2 cups hands-on time: 10 min. total time: 10 min.
Try this dressing over grilled romaine, mixed greens, or iceberg wedges topped with chopped cooked bacon and crumbled blue cheese for a side salad.

To make it a main dish, add chopped grilled chicken, shrimp or steak, or use as a dipping sauce for fried okra, wings, or chicken fingers. 3/4 cup buttermilk
1/2 cup mayonnaise
3 Tbsp. chopped fresh chives
1 garlic clove, minced
1 tsp. freshly ground pepper
1/2 tsp. salt

Whisk together all ingredients in a small bowl. Cover and chill until ready to serve. Store leftovers in an airtight container in refrigerator up to 5 days.
